The Gonstead chiropractic technique is one of the most accuarate and specific forms of assessment/adjusting that focuses on identifting the exact area of spinal misalignment and corrects it using very precise adjustments.

Methodical

The approach typically focuses on the foundation of the spine and works its way up, so a lot of emphasis is placed on ensuring the lower back is as level as possible which will have flow on effects to the rest of the body.
A good example to explain this is: A house with an uneven foundation (pelvis) will never have a straight roof (neck).

Accurate

Gonstead has a very accurate and specific diagnostic process that helps discover which areas are causing the problem and it helps distinguish exactly how your spine needs to move to get you feeling at your best.
Chiropractic- Diversified Technique

Diversified technique is the most common chiropractic technqiue. It is a mixture of different chiropractic techniques and is typically one of the most flexible and adaptable forms of chiropractic.

Comfortable
Patients love diversified chiropractic due to its comfortable and varied manual style. Its versatility is tailored to make each adjustment comfortable and easy on your body.

Adaptable
Diversified has quite a wide scope and can help the practitioner spot areas that need working on that other techniques may ignore.

At Journey Chiropractic, we offer a variety of chiropractic techniques to ensure you receive the best care possible. One of these techniques is the Activator Chiropractic Technique, a gentle and effective approach to improving your health.

The Activator Technique is a method used by chiropractors to make precise and gentle adjustments to your spine and other joints. It's designed to address misalignments or areas of tension in your body that may be causing discomfort or affecting your overall well-being.

Precise

Instead of using manual manipulation (where the chiropractor uses their hands to adjust your spine), the Activator Technique employs a small handheld instrument called an "Activator Adjusting tool."

No Cracking or Popping sounds
Unlike some other chiropractic techniques that we use, the Activator Technique doesn't involve any cracking or popping sounds. This gentle approach is often preferred by those who may be uncomfortable with manual adjustments.

Activator Chiropractic Technique is a gentle, precise, and effective approach to improving your health and well-being. The best way to explain the cause of bad posture is that poor posture depicts poor function. If your head sticks forward, shoulders pull in and body seems unlevelled it is typically due to an issue in your spinal alignment, muscle activity or daily habits.

Here at Journey chiropractic we figure all of this out for you and show you key steps to ensure you are looking, feeling and performing at your best.
